Monograph of three Christmas drawings done by Jere Abbott for Annetta Clark in 1936. Privately printed by the Ardwen Press, Madison, NJ, in a limited edition of 68 copies of which this is number 36.
Jere Abbott (1897 - 1982) was the Director of the Smith College Museum of Art from 1932 to 1946. In 1929 he had helped to establish the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, and served as the associate director of that museum until he came to Smith.
